About ScreenRhythm

Last updated: 20 October 2026

ScreenRhythm is an independent Windows app for a family screen-time agreement. The child sees the rules and the countdown, and can ask for more time; the parent approves from a phone browser. We do not read messages, take screenshots or sell data.

Why we built it

Most parental-control apps are built around surveillance: hidden screenshots, message reading, a dashboard full of everything the child did. That approach creates conflict. The child learns to hide, the parent learns to check, and the rules become a game of cat and mouse.

We think a visible rule works better. If the child can see the countdown and knows the schedule, the limit is easier to accept. If the child can ask for 15 more minutes and get a real answer, they are less likely to look for a workaround. That is why ScreenRhythm shows the timer, keeps the child informed and treats the rules as an agreement rather than a secret.

Who we are

ScreenRhythm is an independent product. Support is handled by the people who make the app, not an outsourced call centre. It has its own brand, privacy notice and support address.
